Types of Braces We Offer
Traditional Metal Braces
One of the most common type of braces used today are traditional metal braces. Traditional metal braces are made of high-grade stainless steel, and use metal brackets and archwires in order to effectively straighten your teeth. With these braces, you are able to add colorful rubber bands in order to customize and personalize your smile, making these a unique option.
Clear (Ceramic) Braces
One of the most commonly used braces in older teenagers and adult patients are ceramic braces. Since these are less visible on the teeth, ceramic braces are a good option for patients with cosmetic concerns. With the use of clear materials, ceramic braces are less prominent, however, they require more care, especially with oral hygiene, than other types of braces. Since ceramic braces are larger and more brittle than the traditional metal counterparts, these types of braces are used more on the upper front teeth, and typically not on the lower teeth.
Clear Aligners
Perhaps the most convenient option when it comes to braces is the use of clear aligners. This set of acrylic trays will straighten your teeth like braces, without the mouth abrasions that metal braces can cause. Since clear aligners are removable, you may eat and drink as usual, also making brushing and flossing less of a challenge. Clear aligners are the best option when it comes to comfort, visibility, and convenience.
Lingual Hidden Braces (Behind the teeth):
Hidden Braces provide a practically invisible way to straighten teeth and have a brighter smile. So no one will ever know you are wearing braces. Lingual hidden braces are Placed behind the teeth on the tongue side.
Testimonials
The price was fair and reasonable and the hours fit right into my schedule. I found it very convenient to be able to stop on my way home from work to get my teeth fixed. Dr. Alamir made sure I was in and out within a reasonable time and was very respectful of that. I don’t think you could find a better place!
